Sal Wilkinson was born November 25th in Boston Massachusetts, and moved to State College Pennsylvania in 2008.

 

Joining the arts at a young age through a local theatre group, I discovered my love for performance and theatre. Junior year of high School (2017) I went to a five week program at Emerson College in Boston for theatre design. In the program I was able to design a theoretical show, from the costumes to the set designs, and even the lighting everything I made was authentically my creative vision - this is where I learned I loved the design and creation process of theatre more than performance.

The summer of 2023 I interned in a gallery local to Newport, Rhode Island which is where I started to create traditional canvas art in a more serious way. 

 

A self taught artist who is interested in all media, ranging from acrylic paints to collage work, and even filmography and theatre design, everything is interesting to me and I want to learn how to create for every time of artistic media.
